The polymer powder is filled into the feed hopper through the screw conveyor at the bottom. The polymer is fed by a screw conveyor precisely controlled by a VFD motor. The water supply is controlled by solenoid valves and flow meters.
Powder and water mixing occurs in a two-stage mixing chamber, and after the solution is stored in a storage tank, the liquid level is controlled by a level controller. A metering pump supplies the polymer solution to the sludge dewaterer or DAF unit.
