Battery Production VOC Activated Carbon Adsorber System

The BIO Series Activated Carbon Adsorber is designed for battery manufacturing, featuring “multi-layer carbon beds+smart regeneration” to remove 98% of NMP, electrolyte vapors (DMC/EC/EMC) and binder emissions. Meets IEC 62474 and EPA Method 25A standards.

Working Princple

  1. Gas Collection

  • Explosion-proof PP ducts (ATEX ExdⅡBT4)

  1. Pre-treatment

  • HEPA filter (>0.5μm, 99% efficiency)

  • Chiller unit (cool to <40℃)

  1. Adsorption

  • Dual carbon beds:

    • Front: Honeycomb carbon (iodine value≥950mg/g)

    • Rear: Granular carbon (CTC≥60%)

  • Face velocity: 0.3-0.5m/s

  1. Regeneration

  • Steam desorption (120-150℃)

  • NMP recovery condenser (>90% purity)
