Waste Treatment Plant Odor Control Biofilter

The BIO Series Odor Control Biofilter is specially designed for waste transfer stations, landfills and incineration plants, featuring “multi-strain biofilm+multi-layer filtration” technology to remove H₂S, NH₃, VOCs with ≥96% efficiency. Complies with EU Landfill Directive 1999/31/EC and US EPA Subpart WW standards.

Working Princple

  1. Gas Collection

  • FRP ducting with corrosion-resistant centrifugal fans

  1. Biofiltration Core

  • 4-stage treatment:

    • Pre-treatment: Water scrubber + humidity control (RH≥95%)

    • Stage 1: Sulfur-oxidizing bacteria for H₂S removal(>95%)

    • Stage 2: Nitrifying bacteria for NH₃ removal(>90%)

    • Stage 3: Mixed culture for VOCs degradation

  1. Smart Control

  • Real-time H₂S/NH₃ monitoring with automatic spray adjustment

  1. Final Emission

  • Odor concentration ≤1000, meeting strictest regulations
